The president of the International Energy Agency (IEA) stated on Thursday that Europe has “maybe 6 weeks or so (of) jet fuel left,” warning of potential flight cancellations “soon” if oil supplies are still restricted due to the Iran conflict. The pinch-off of petroleum via the Strait of Hormuz caused what he called “the largest energy crisis we have ever faced,” and the IEA warned of the consequences for the whole world.
