Pakistan Pushes Peace as US-Iran Talks Loom in Islamabad

With Field Marshal Asim Munir departing Tehran and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif returning home from Turkiye, Pakistan’s military leader and prime minister finished separate trips on Saturday with the goal of ending the Iran conflict. This next week, the United States and Iran are scheduled to have a second round of negotiations in Islamabad.
