Turkiye detains ninety over embassy attack

Two weeks after a fatal gunfight outside the Israeli embassy in Istanbul, Turkiye said on Monday that it has detained ninety individuals with alleged ties to the Islamic State extremist organization. A day after the April 7 assault, 198 individuals were arrested nationally in an effort to combat “the terrorist organization Daesh,” which is another term for the Islamic State.
