Ukraine Needs $588 Billion for Post-War Recovery, Says World Bank

Based on the latest joint report (RDNA5) released on February 23/2026 by the World Bank, the Government of Ukraine, the European Commission, and the United Nations, the total cost of rebuilding Ukraine from Russia’s invasion is estimated to be almost $588 billion over the next decade. $588 billion is required for Ukraine to recover from Russia’s four-year invasion inflicted over three times the nation’s yearly economic output in devastation, according to the World Bank and other organizations.
