Artemis II Astronauts Return Toward Earth

In preparation for a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off Southern California, the four Artemis II astronauts, returning from the first crewed Moon mission in more than 50 years, raced back toward Earth on Friday aboard the Orion spacecraft. They will wind up safely floating on the water off the coast of San Diego if all goes according to plan.
