Donald Trump Warns Iran Over Missile Threat, Vows to Block Nuclear Ambitions

Date:

In his State of the Union speech, US President Donald Trump asserted that Iran is working on developing missiles capable of attacking the US. The allegations came as he sent Tehran a new warning, accusing it of attempting to rehabilitate a nuclear program that was the focus of U.S. attacks in June of last year. They were cautioned against attempting to reconstitute their weapons program in the future, especially regarding nuclear weapons, after Midnight Hammer. Nevertheless, they keep starting afresh. They wish to start afresh after we destroyed it, and they are currently pursuing their evil goals once more. Trump has stated that he prefers diplomacy in the high-stakes discussions between the US and Iran over Iran’s nuclear program and other matters, such as missiles. I would rather that diplomacy be used to resolve this issue. However, one thing is for sure. I will never allow the world’s number one sponsor of terror, which they are by far, to have a nuclear weapon. That cannot be allowed to occur.

Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Saraki, said that Iran will under no circumstances develop a nuclear weapon but insisted on the country’s right to harness the dividends of peaceful nuclear technology. As of right now, Thran has short- and medium-range ballistic missiles with a maximum range of around 3,000 kilometers, according to the US Congressional Research Service. The westernmost point of Iran is more than 6,000 miles away from the continental United States. They have already created missiles that pose a danger to Europe and our foreign outposts, and they are already developing missiles that will soon be able to reach the United States. Ismael Bay, a spokesman for Iran’s foreign ministry, denied the allegations without specifically naming Trump. He said in a post on Next that the accusations against Iran’s ballistic missile program are a reiteration of major falsehoods. The third round of discussions between Washington and Tehran is scheduled to take place in Geneva on Thursday. This is the latest since the talks started again earlier this month. Trump’s joint address to Congress is now airing. Top US legislators received an unusual briefing on Iran from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Rubio gave a confidential briefing to the so-called “gang of fate,” which consists of the chairman and ranking members of the House and Senate intelligence committees, as well as top members of both parties’ legislative houses. Additionally, the foreign ministry issued a warning on Monday that “any strike no matter how small, would be considered an act of aggression”. Iranian state television broadcast a film on Tuesday that showed the Revolutionary Guard of the nation conducting a rehearsal in which they fired weapons, launched missiles, and flew drones at targets near the country’s shore.
