Centre Approves 5,000 Homes for Violence-Affected Families in Manipur

The Indian government has approved the construction of 5,000 houses for the rehabilitation of internally displaced persons in the state of Manipur. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), the Center has authorized the building of 5,000 homes for internally displaced people impacted by violence in Manipur. By March 31, the State hopes to have 10,000 affected households relocated.
