5 lakh crore (in ₹) allocated funds for women and girls under various schemes in the Union Budget 2026-27 by the Union government through NAMO Drone Didi, Prime Minister’s Girls’ Hostel, Schemes for Safety of Women (Police), Safe Tourist Destination for Women (Ministry of Tourism) etc., which saw an increase of 11.55% from the previous fiscal year as per the recently released Gender Budget Statement (GBS).
