To address its financial needs, the Telangana government obtained a 27,730 crore Special Drawing Facility (SDF) from the RBI for a period of 363 days. The State additionally used Ways and Means Advances totaling 64,188 crore for 298 days, according to the 2024–2025 annual statement.
