UNHCR Reports Over 2 Lakh Flee Lebanon Amid Conflict

The United Nations’ refugee agency, UNHCR, reported on Tuesday that since conflict between Israeli forces and Lebanon’s Hezbollah organization started a month ago, more than 2 lakh individuals had fled Lebanon for Syria. “The great majority—nearly 1.8 lakh—are Syrians, including refugees who have previously left Syria,” it continued.
