Germany Announces €1.6B Fuel Relief Package

Germany announced 1.6 billion euros in gasoline price assistance for individuals and companies affected by the West Asian conflict’s energy shock. The declaration was made following another spike in oil prices following the breakdown of peace negotiations between the United States and Iran and Donald Trump’s decision to blockade the Strait of Hormuz.
