Iraq Closes Key Border Route with Iran Following Fatal Strike

According to security officials on Saturday, Iraq blocked the Shalamcheh border crossing with Iran after an Iraqi citizen was killed by airstrikes on the Iranian side, cutting off a crucial supply route. Merchants report that Iraq primarily uses the bridge to obtain vegetables and other food supplies from Iran.
