Due to the damage of a monument of Jesus Christ in southern Lebanon, the Israeli military announced on Tuesday that two soldiers will be placed in military custody for thirty days. The decision was made in response to a photo of an Israeli soldier striking the head of a fallen figure of a crucified Jesus with a hammer that was widely condemned online.
