Peter Mandelson, a former envoy to the United States, was detained by U.K. police on Monday due to suspicions that he had links to embattled U.S. businessman Jeffrey Epstein. After an earlier revelation of papers relating to Epstein revealed the depth of their bond, Prime Minister Keir Starmer fired Mr. Mandelson as envoy last year.
