In India, mothers receive recognition for caring for their babies. Dads are often ignored. Parents should be acknowledged for their role in raising their children. Now only government workers in India can take 15 days off for paternity leave. Some countries like Sweden and Japan, give their dads time off. Most people in India work in companies, not government jobs so they can’t take paternity leave. Taking care of children is not just the mother’s job; fathers should also be involved. Dads should be there for their partners during pregnancy. When the baby is born to offer emotional support. The system we have now is unfair because it focuses more on maternity leave than paternity leave. When both parents are involved in raising their children, it benefits the children and the community. Shared parenting is good for everyone. It helps kids grow up with both parent love and support.
