As the death toll from the large explosion at a pyrotechnics facility in Kattanarpatti here increased to 25, authorities stated on Monday that identification is still difficult because the majority of the victims are burned beyond recognition. The family of the dead will receive ₹5.5 lakh ex gratia, according to the Virudhunagar district government.
