Ghana Rescues Over 300 West African Beggars

The Ghana Immigration Service announced on Thursday that more than 300 West African citizens, including 113 children, had been saved following an intelligence-led raid on networks of street beggars in Accra, the country’s capital. Suspected street begging rings were the focus of the investigation early on Wednesday.
