Finland Requests Funds for Undersea Cable Security

The Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications said on Thursday that Finland has requested 9.55 million euros ($11.25 million) in funds from the European Commission to strengthen its capacity for repairing underwater cables. Following a series of electrical line disruptions, the Baltic Sea area has been on high alert for sabotage.
