The Israeli military claimed on Thursday that it had attacked and killed a key advisor to Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem in Beirut the day before Israeli missiles battered Lebanon. According to a military statement, “the IDF struck in the Beirut area yesterday and eliminated Ali Yusuf Harshi, the personal secretary and nephew of Qassem.”
