Myanmar Parliament to Convene March 16

Following an election that detractors claimed was neither free nor fair, Myanmar’s state-run media stated on Tuesday that the country’s newly elected parliament will meet for its first session on March 16. Additionally, since the military took over in 2021, it will be the first time the parliament has met in almost five years.
